Made it to the office - third table from the back near the cream and sugar bar at Starbucks...I never pass the buck!!! Here are a few more shots from last night. Brian and I played around a little with light painting. Tonight more of the same but will probably try some time lapse as well. Again, anyone who wants to join us is more than welcome. What we lack in knowledge we make up for in enthusiasm and are happy to share what we know if you wish to practice some of the basics of nightscape photography. A map with where we will start is in the post as well. Please comment to the post if you think you might make it or if you need better directions, etc. The minimum you would need is your widest and fastest lens (hopefully 24mm or wider), camera and tripod. A cable release or remote shutter release is also helpful. You might notice the bright white streak in one of the shots - thats the International Space Station passing overhead (about 20 seconds of its path). Not a late night as this shot was taken at 7:30pm! Its a school/work night so you should get home relatively early. I suggest starting early since the fall colors are really popping in New Harmony. Catch the golden hour and then some nightscape images to top off the day. Hope to see you there!
