MagPi and I are back from the vets. Her leg is not broken but it is a problem -- she called it something that happens to horses --- I forget what. She apparently has twisted it which is causing the tendons or ligaments (I forget which) to constrict, and it is inflamed. Cortisone and antibiotics. Apparently Maggie is quite the story around town now --- the last flood of urine, pellets, milk and blood has apparently become a widely spread story in town. This trip she confined her 3 poops and 2 pees to the back of my van. I just swept out the pellets, and washed the urine w/soapy water w/bleach. On the way out this morning on my dirt road a roadrunner ran right across the road in front of me. Right now there is a beautiful tiny blue bird flitting around the open front door. Oh, thats right, we just had another major snow storm!! I saw all 19 flakes myself -- thought they were bugs at first. (sigh) Never thought Id miss winter!! Ok, Im off FB for hours!
