Training and placement division of MIT is looking after placing students through campus selection. It is learned that many of the companies have expressed that expectation of these candidates is not up to level expected by them in Industry. Candidates have limitations of knowledge about the latest development in Industry as they have been oriented towards university syllabus. This gap between Industry and Institute persist since many years. Very few Institutes in India have taken initiative in bridging the gap. During the course time if the training is planned to reduce the gap, the students get overloaded. They are supposed to undergo training as per university requirements. Keeping these in mind MET decided to complete this part of training to reduce the gap between Industry and Institute after the course time. This training is to be carried out by professionals who are having experience in Industry at various levels. The main objective the programme is to ensure that 100 placement is provided to the candidates who opt for this finishing school. MET will provide basic facilities to carry out programmes and through MET brand name students shall be admitted.
