Maintenance Technician Operation Stand Down Tennessee (OSDTN) has an opening for a Maintenance Technician. THIS PERSON MUST BE A VETERAN. The position requires a general knowledge of basic home repairs – electrical, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc. The person works for the Maintenance Coordinator working both independently and as part of a team to maintain seven homes and our Veteran Service Center. Work hours/days are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM. Occasional weekend work required, if an emergency. OSDTN is a TN Drug Free Workplace. If in recovery, most prove a minimum of two years successful recovery program progress. General Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs Must have a valid Drivers License with no accidents, DUI’s, etc in last 5 years (If selected for an interview, you must provide a copy of your Motor Vehicle Report - MVR) You do not have to have own tools. They are provided. A car is not required but must be able to get to work every day on time. Must be an honorably discharged veteran – non-veterans need not apply.
