Maiti Nepal would like to invite journalists on behalf of their esteemed media ( print, electronic, online) for a “ press Conference” at Maiti Nepal on August 27,2014 Wednesday at 11 :30 am. During the Press Conference, 8-10 survivors of trafficking and rape will express their heart rending stories. The information thus obtained will enable us to gauge the severity of human trafficking and gender violence in Nepali society. To be addressed by the Chairperson and Director of Maiti Nepal, the Press Conference will unveil the status quo of human trafficking ( internal, cross- border and overseas) , trafficking in course of foreign labour migration, irregularities in foreign employment, and the accomplishment of Maiti Nepal in the crusade against human trafficking.
