Major Donald Hostetler challenged us to send a text to Thank someone for this weekend! So I want to thank my Schenectady teens. Under what could have been a horrible weekend. You were patient, waiting over two hours for a ride! You did not complain, when having to unpack the bus and load the van. You didnt complain that the van was crowded. You didnt complain that your t-shirts didnt fit or that you missed Friday Nights concert. You were well behaved and showed up on time to all events. You made friends from other corps. You packed up, cleaned up, moved your stuff quickly to wait for our Capital Region Corps to ride home. And you behaved on the way home for our gracious friends. I thank you for your love and respect for me. I thank you for being open to what God had for you. I am so proud of you and I love you all! Thank you Albany, Amsterdam, Saratoga, and Troy for making room for us. Erik Jones for taking the Tubas. And Major John B. Stewart III for taking home to Syracuse one of the Troy boys!
