Make sure you know the laws and have the correct child restraint - TopicsExpress

Make sure you know the laws and have the correct child restraint for your child! 0-6 months MUST be in a rear facing child restraint. 6 months - 4 years MUST be in a rear facing or forward facing child restraint. 4 years - 7 years MUST be restrained in a forward facing child restraint or booster. Child restraint = car seat with in built 5/6pt harness... not a booster seat with an add on harness (please dont use add on harnesses anyway!!!) The fine is $330 and 3 demerit points for each incorrectly restrained child. smh.drive.au/motor-news/eleven-fines-per-day-for-incorrect-child-seat-use-20131023-2w04l.html
