Make you cry Spark! Love David A2J Hi everyone hi have a spark to share. I first what to say what a God send this page is for me. It has changed me life. I am always looking for an opportunity to do a spark. It is sad to say that in my 58 years on this earth, it was never like that before. I felt like the world owed me because of the horrible childhood I had. I want to say thank you to each and every person on this page, who is posted a spark or commented on a spark that has been posted. I now know what everybody means when they say they feel guilty when they give because they feel like they get more than what they gave. I was in a very nice restaurant in New York, setting next to the window. I looked out the window and I saw a man that appeared to be very cold had ice suspected he was even hungry. I called to the waiter and ask him if he could go out and asked the man what he would like to eat. The young waiter asked me if I wanted him to go out and take his order. I smiled and said yes unless you can read his mind. My friend that was setting with me was horrified that I would be doing something like this. I ask her doing something like what? You see her husband is a pastor of a very large church. I told her it would not be my responsibility to buy this man a meal if the churches were doing their responsibility. The waiter came back in and said he really didnt think that the man wanted anything to eat. I told the waiter come on lets go talk to this man. As I was walking out the door something hit me and I knew that I had to invite this man in the have a good meal, in a warm place. I walked up to the man I stuck my hand out and I told him my name and I said I want to have dinner with you. The man started to say something and I cut right in and said I will not take no for an answer. The man reluctantly walked back in to the nice restaurant with me in the waiter. He sat down and introduced himself to my friend and she said hi how are you, he said I am wonderful. We all put our order and at the same time, and when it came we had been talking for almost 30 minutes. I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable times of my life. I took the time to get to know this man, and all of his heart aches, mishaps and trials and tribulations. We sat and talked until the restaurant was getting ready to close. I asked the man where he was going to go to sleep tonight. He said he was not sure but he would figure something out. This is when my friend spoke up and said I will have none of that we will get you a hotel for tonight, and come back and visit you in the morning. We went back in the morning and he was still there. Our friend and gone down to the lobby of the hotel and got the razor and some shaving cream, and cleaned himself up and he looked great. My friends church offered him a job which he accepted, and moved into a home that the church owned. The church has been a blessing for him and he has been a blessing for the church.
