Making your own ramen is no petty task. For some recipes, preparation can take about 3 days. So if youve got some time on your hands and an intense craving for ramen, heres a Shoyu Ramen recipe to satisfy that craving! :) See full recipe below. Ingredients: 400 g Monterey Beef Brisket, whole 350 g Monterey Beef Bones 250 g fish bones 4 cup light soy sauce 2 tbsp five spice powder 1⁄2 cup chili garlic sauce 200 g vegetable trimmings 7 lit water 3 1⁄2 cup ramen noodle, blanched 1 cup bamboo shoots, blanched 1 1⁄4 cup fish cakes 4 pc boiled egg, sliced 1 cup bean sprout green onion Procedure In a medium size sauce pot with hot water, add beef brisket, beef bones, fish stock, light soy, five spice powder, chili garlic sauce and vegetable trimming. Boil for 6 hours. After 6 hours, set aside cooked beef meat and strain braising liquid. Discard strained solids. Sliced cooked brisket and set aside. In a serving bowl, put 80g of ramen, top with 20g of bamboo shoots, 35g fish cakes, sliced beef brisket and some boiled egg and been sprout. Pour some hot broth and garnish green onion. Serve.
