#Malawi President Mutharika finds new Love after 25 Years Marking the climax of the reception ceremony of his wedding to the First Lady Madame Gertrude Hendrina Maseko, Malawi President Arthur Peter Mutharika shared with the nation part of her life story where he indicated that despite all the mystery about his love life, he is a family man with two daughters whose mother passed on 25 years ago. “ I never thought I would marry again until when I met Madame Gertrude Hendrina Maseko Mutharika whom am glad to have as my life partner , one to help me in running the affairs of this nation and most of all a spiritual mentor,” explained President Mutharika. According to the Official Malawi Government online Facebook page, the President proudly re-introduced his two daughters Monique and Moyenda who graced the occasion and gladly indicated that the two daughters are successful legal practioners in the United States of America (USA). The Toast Master, Goodall Gondwe who is Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, labeled the event as one of the important ones in the President’s life as he embarks on the job of transforming Malawi. “Behind every successful president there is a great woman, and am sure Madame Gertrude Hendrina Mutharika will make such a partner to the president,” said Gondwe. Chairman of the organizing committee, Vice President Saulosi Chilima said the nation celebrates with the President as he has taken this important step in one’s life. Despite the chilly weather in Thyolo, thousands of people celebrated with the first couple on their entry into holy matrimony.
