Man I look at some of the ppl on FB that I graduated with & those who graduated before & after me & boy Ill tell ya George Washington Carver High produced & still producing some of the most productive & creative African Americans Ive ever laid eyes on! Yeah our schools geographic location suggest that were a little rough around the edges but we sure do clean up well. We got educators, retiring service men & women, small business owners, interior decorators, pastors, athletes & more. You name it, Carver produced one. Im so proud of us all. Demographics & statics show that we should be doing way worse so we are truly defying odds with our ambition to be someone. Sometimes you gotta stop & admire the portrait that has been taken...hope I didnt lose you there. What Im saying is whats the point of perfect photos if you never take time to look & admire the beauty that was captured at that moment? Look back & see the perfect portrait Carver has created for us! The memories & character that Carver created in us are #Priceless. I love my hood & friends in it, but I also love being a product that made it out the hood. Im still hood homie I just rep it with so much class & in such a professional way its sickening. I still have PTHS Post Traumatic Hood Syndrome & may spazz but Im working on that...thats what the shooting range & all the guns are for, #StressRelief & when that doesnt work the Bible has NEVER steered me wrong!
