Man Im still in shock I got the job. Well I have a lot of packing/work to do in just 1 week. Really less than that! To my FMS fam I love yall to Life. I know people dont want me to leave. Believe me Ive prayed really hard about this. This was the decision I made. To all of the faculty, staff, admin. there that helped me out during my stay cant thank you guys enough. To my resource team (that bread and butter team 😂😂 ), words cannot expresses how grateful I am to you all! You helped build not only my faith in teaching but also help me strengthen my faith in GOD. to my band parents whove really supported not only myself but the band kids, the program wouldnt be what it is without you all. And finally to my students (man I cant stop tearing up) first off let me apologize for not being able to keep my promise to you. You guys and girls have given me the best 3 years of my life so far. Ive learned so much from you all and you all from me. All I ask is one thing. DO NOT QUIT YOUR MUSICAL JOURNEY BECAUE IM LEAVING! You all accomplished so many things because you didnt give up! Nothing would hurt me more that to see you stop grinding musically because I will be gone. Become better! Go to state not for me but for YOU! Because its always been about YOU for me. Every time some one asked me something I was always doing something for you guys whether it was writing music, scheduling trips, buying books, fixing instruments. I think about all more than I think about myself sometimes. You are all awesome to me no matter what you decide though. I love you all!!!!! To all of the band directors Ive encountered here in NC and SC, thanks you all for the knowledge and time you taken out of your days to work with myself and my students. I will never forget that! Mr. Farr P.S. I had to get this out of me before I left.
