Man dies in electrocution VICTIM: 1.) Ernesto Diaz y Lopez, 49 y/o, married, a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Alawihao, Daet, Camarines Norte. Status: Dead on Arrival 2.) Evelyn Diaz y Gogola, 17 y/o, single, a resident of the same place. Status: Sustained physical injuries DATE/TIME: January 10, 2015 at about 2:00 PM PLACE: Purok 5, Barangay Alawihao, Daet, Camarines Norte. In the report submitted by PSUPT PAUL FLORENDO ABAY, Chief of Police of Daet Municipal Police Station (MPS), to PSSUPT MOISES CUDAL PAGADUAN, Acting Provincial Director of Camarines Norte Police Provincial Office, disclosed while the victim (Evelyn) was trying to get their washed clothes hanged on a tire wire placed in upper portion of a live wire of Canoreco electric post outside their house she was accidentally electrocuted. Her father (Ernesto) tried to save her but he accidentally touched the said tire wire causing him also to be electrocuted. Both were rushed to Camarines Norte Provincial Hospital for medical treatment but the victim (Ernesto) was declared dead on arrival by attending physician while Evelyn was sustained injuries on her hand. The cadaver of Ernesto L Diaz now lies at Funeraria Belmonte located at Vinzons avenue, Barangay V, Daet, Camarines Norte. (PO1 Aceron, BKG)
