Man shot in leg in Wilmington! I am not surprised. I dont know what else to do when it comes to trying to get the police to break up the loitering on the streets. It never ends up good! I called in a fight Yesterday evening, only to drive by an hour later and see the same group still gathered on the same corner! I know theres a lot going on in the police have to handle the call for services. But there has to be a message sent that note you cannot just hang out on this corner and sit on the steps of the business. The business owner needs to be held accountable for allowing it to happen and should get there own security to stop it and the police needs to make it clear that arrest will be made if the same people are found sitting there Again! But no they just drive by same way I do and dont tell them to disperse. Some days when I call the radio room sees fit to hang up the phone on me… SMH Cooperation, so what happens when the community does cooperate and they dont see results? It gets old. Im still determined and Im going to fight tooth and nail but I need a little help here! Its about prevention and breaking up the crowd is one thing we can do.
