Manager Production (Rolling Mill) BE – Mechanical. Must have hands on 10 – 15 years working experience in steel rolling mills. Be technically sound and possess adequate managerial know how. Have the ability to lead and manage shifts of engineers and technicians. Be able to deal with all plant working issues related to production, planning & coordination. Be able to direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of material, such as inspections, machine setting, and fabrication. Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Be able to read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements. Must be able to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Ability to work towards developing a lean manufacturing environment will be preferred.
