Mana’o Hana Hou Radio 91.7 FM invites you to come join us for Upcountry Sundays Acoustic Style, our monthly benefit showcase. Featuring the best in acoustic music, from both Maui artists and visiting musicians, this long-running show happens on the first Sunday of every month at Casanova in Makawao, from 2 to 5 PM. It’s a beautiful afternoon of great live music and great friends. What a show we have for you on November 2nd! We’ll be featuring award-winning singer-songwriter and blues harp player Jimi Lee with some of Maui’s best players. Jimi has won huge recognition from his peers, including multiple First Places from the Austin Songwriters Group, the Nashville Songwriters Association International, the Austin Blues Society’s Heart o’ Texas Blues Challenge, the Hawaiian Blues Society, and more. He competed at the International Blues Challenge Finals as one of the top eight solo/duo acts in the world. The list goes on and on. Also on the program will be our own Betz and Adam with Vince Esquire. Opening the show will be the popular Sebrina Barron, one of Maui’s best singer-songwriters. You don’t want to miss this one! Only $7 at the door goes entirely to benefit Mana’o Hana Hou Radio . . .a new name, a new transmitter, more power, with many of your favorite personalities and some new faces too. We would like to welcome listeners old and new to Maui’s most eclectic and varied radio programming, and our new stronger and clearer signal.
