Manchester City will reportedly hand Samir Nasri around - TopicsExpress

Manchester City will reportedly hand Samir Nasri around £180,000-a-week from his new five-year deal at the club. Nasri, who has two years left on his current deal, scored seven goals in 29 league starts including the opener in the final day win against West Ham which clinched a second Premier League title in three years for City. Despite being an integral part of Manuel Pellegrinis side last term, Nasri was overlooked by France coach Didier Deschamps for his World Cup squad in Brazil this summer. However, the former Arsenal man will be more than compensated by a bumper new contract at the Etihad Stadium which he is poised to sign when he returns from his summer holiday later this month. The news comes after Aleksandar Kolarov signed a new three-year deal at the weekend while the club are aiming to tie down goalkeeper Joe Hart and striker Edin Dzeko following the World Cup.
