Manchester United used a new commercial blueprint proving their serious earning potential to snare the likes of Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria and Daley Blind this summer, according to the Daily Telegraph. Without the luxury of Champions League football to offer United have beefed up their marketing strategy and sold their six new signings a vision of earning big money from commercial deals and shirt sales, incentives they believe will keep them in the race for the worlds best players despite a slump on the pitch in recent times. United think they have the proof any new signing will see the benefits of their huge global fanbase in their bank balance and now prepare a presentation to transfer targets, hoping it will seal the deal and ensure they never lose out on players Louis van Gaal identifies. Money talks One United insider insisted that any top player is a realist and has to consider the bottom line financially when making moves in whats a very short career at the highest level, which means efforts from Red Devils chiefs to make their 30+ commercial deals work in their favour can only help in terms land star signings. The Telegraph quote a United first-team players agent as claiming: “A player will always sign for Manchester United, first and foremost, because it is Manchester United.
