Mandu and Hindi film Kinara Most of the Army officers see the 13 km long famous fort of Mandu near Indore while attending courses at Mhow. Its associated with the love story of Rani Rupmati and Baaz Bahadur. It is a fine example of Afghan architecture. I took my family to Mandu last year during my third visit there and it was a pleasure to see the place well maintained with many new facilities like MP Tourisms and other private hotels there. Gulzar shot most of his famous film Kinara (Hema Mailini, Dharmendra and Jeetendra) there. Please listen to that lovely song Naam Goom Jayega....Chehra Badal Jayega..... and have some glimpses of the fort.
