Many are making declarations for the new year. Some are stating they are going to move to a new city, state, or county to start a new life and a new beginning or new relationship but remember you are taking you with you. If there are some things you need to change it will carry over into the new city or new relationship. For example, if you were involved in 4 relationships in the past and 1 marriage that failed because of dishonesty or cheating you need to do a true reflection. If in all relationships you where dishonest or cheated even in the marriage it says a lot about your character. You might say they cheated first, they became boring, they argue too much, we grew apart, or etc. They are excuses and you are using excuses to be dishonest in your relationships. Your actions should not be determine on another persons actions or behavior. You are responsible for you. So start working on you because moving to another state, city, or into a new relationship is not the answer. You will just accumulate more baggage and cause more hurt in your life and the lives of others. It is just an example, but we all need to look within our lives and declare to want to be better each day. God is the perfect one who can put us on a path of becoming the better you.
