Many folks have asked what the heck is Pasties 4 Paws? Well, last year after having Xena the Pit Bulls photo done for Little Darlings Pinups for Pitbulls, Inc. calendar, I came home with an idea: a burlesque show as a fundraiser and adoption event during intermission where the performers walked the runway with the dogs. This idea stayed stuck in my head for months because I had absolutely no idea how to implement it. Then I met Stephanie. I mentioned it to her in passing. She, in turn, knew Lollie and BrieCoquette. Again, it was mentioned in passing to Brie. Next thing I know, these three amazing ladies, who just happen to be Pink Peacock Productions, have taken my idea and turned it into a smashing event called Pasties 4 Paws! Its not going to be an ordinary, boring fundraising/adoption event! No, this will be the biggest two-day burlesque extravaganza in Oklahoma! Slated for September 26 & 27th at the Tulsa Osage Event Center, the event will feature burlesque performances, comedians, burlesque and pinup competitions, vendors, adoption groups, and a car show! Proceeds from the event will benefit the City of Tulsa Animal Welfare and Epics Pit Bull Rescue, two groups who are near and dear to my heart. We are close to launching the Web site where applications for sponsors, performers, vendors, and volunteers will be available. Please, go like Pasties 4 Paws and Pink Peacock Productions and mark it on your calendar to NOT miss this event! Not only will you have a great time, but youll be helping our furry companions as well!
