Many of the spruce trees in Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield are now being cut down or will need to be cut down due to another disease Sad to know that so many of those majestic trees we take for granted will be gone within two or three years. If you live in Fairfield and have loved ones in Evergreen, stop by and visit now to appreciate the trees. One was cut down on Thursday, more to follow. Hopefully the quarantine for the newly found emerald ash borer found in Fairfield will be effective.
