Many of the symptoms mentioned in relation to increase or decrease of the dhatus (tissues) may not be directly related to the function of the same dhatu. This is because an alteration in one dhatu will naturally influence the quantity and quality of other dhatus as well producing symptoms. So the symptoms mentioned in relation to the dhatus can be classified as immediate and delayed symptoms. Immediate symptoms will be connected to the same dhatu while delayed symptoms are those produced as a result of influencing other dhatus. Does it make sense?
