Many of you are not aware of my efforts to bring about good government in Lauderdale Lakes, as I suspect many of you think Im just a foul mouthed jerk. Guilty as charged! However, be that as it may, for the last couple of years, MAOS has tried to rid LL of its City Manager, a fellow by the name of Jonathan Allen (best friends with South Bays Corey Alston). Allen, charged by the Broward County OIG with felony bid splitting is currently under investigation by the State Attorneys Office (based up MAOS research that led to the OIG investigation). Were told a charging decision is to be made very shortly. During our work, MAOS realized a State led audit of the town was in order, that would have been performed by the Joint Legislative Auditing Committee, chaired by Sen. Abruzzo. Abruzzo told me in no uncertain terms hed get the job done. And then promptly proceeded to do nothing. Ive often wondered why ... and didnt realize the extent of Abruzzos level of shitbird politician until I saw this picture. Now I get it. Abruzzo represents all that is wrong with politics. We judge you by the company you keep, and given Joes bedfellows, he fails miserably.
