Many of you know we have a transport truck and send 1-2 transports to the northeast each month. After 140,000 miles the generator has died. The cost to replace the generator is approximately $13,000!!!!!! We are scheduled to do a transport next week 4/12, which will save approximately 90 animals and make space for 90 more animals and we are already at MAX capacity at the shelter. W/out this generator, the truck cannot GO anywhere, which means life or death for the animals of our shelter and the other shelters we help.
