Many people (and many newbie writers, for that matter) identify Success by having millions of dollars, fancy homes and cars, and expensive attires. However, that is what is called a distorted viewpoint of success. True success is the accomplishment of a clearly defined goal. Let me put this into perspective for you: I made a goal to write a book entitled, The True Writers Life: Discovering the Author and Finisher of Our Faith, and guess what...that book is now available through 35,000 different distributors (Success). I set writing goals for myself to meet every day, in which I meet every day (success). I set a goal to get a degree, Ive earned my AA in Criminal Justice (Success), and Im 4 or 5 courses shy of a BS degree in Business Management (Increased Success). In short, Im a successful and educated writer. Dont let your distorted viewpoints of Success keep you from being successful. Remember: True success is the accomplishment of a clearly defined goal!
