Many people are talking about the politics surrounding nomination by ODM of Moses Kajwang for Homa Bay County Senator position. While there are many theories used to explain the outcome, I think what is not being acknowledged is the fact that political parties have many methods of nominating or selecting candidates, including bad methods. The latter is the reason for shifting parties including using provision for independent candidates. Since these options are available and potential candidates have moved on and taken suitable options we need to convince stone throwers to stop disorganizing Homa Bay County residents from supporting candidates of their own choice.
