Many people now talk of Guantanamo Military Base as a place where Americans are holding (and sometimes torturing) terrorists but few may have wondered why America owns a portion of another country Cuba. Going through the history books, one gets an impression that Guantanamo was leased to the Americans first in 1903 and then solidified in 1934 during the time when the military led by Fulgencio Batista staged a coup and controlled the civilian government, Zimbabwe style. So during this time when the military led by Batista was operating on the background and controlling the weak civilian government, America negotiated a life lease of Guantanamo for a paltry $4000 annual rent. The reason why we need this history is to compare the actions of the military in Cuba then to mortgage the country for their selfish reasons and the actions of JOC where Chiwenga and group are the equivalent of Batista. We are told that Mugabe wants to get about $4 billion from China in exchange for the Chinese to own all our minerals for a period of 99 years. Surprised? Well, what shall happen if Mugabe and his military backers are not stopped is that China shall be to Zimbabwe as America is to Guantanamo with the only difference that at least Americans own just a small portion of the Caribbean Island whereas the Chinese will own the whole country Zimbabwe. And we know that Mugabe has made his calculations that the $4billion will help him buy favours from the many CIOs that he has employed who by our calculations now number more than 500 000, more than double the Civil service. These CIOs have made their source of living working for Mugabe and no one else. They are then Mugabes version of the Napoleons puppies in Animal Farm. Mugabe also wants to use that money to managed the patronage system in his ZANU(PF) party so that he can die in office and leave his wife in charge. He also wants to bribe Civil Servants towards elections when he shall use that money to pretend all is well and that the economy has improved. Our sources say that the lowest paid Civil servant shall be getting $850 per month from 2017. He would then use the civil servants to help him rig the 2018 elections never mind that he will be taken to polling stations by a wheelbarrow if he manages to survive Mnangagwas plans to get rid of him before then. So this loan from the Chinese will not help develop the country in any way. Within a period of 4 years from now Zimbabwe will have nothing to show for the money and the country will be gone. After 2018, Zimbabwe will be worse than Somalia where warlords are the rulers. Grace is a warlord in her own right now if her actions in the Mazowe region are to be taken seriously. At Chiadzwa, its typical ZANU(PF) warlords operating there with some places owned by Mnangagwa, some by Mujuru, some by Mugabe, Chiwenga, Chihuri, etc. We call upon all Zimbabweans to do as the Greeks did, stop the government from further borrowing.Lets go to the streets for this issue. Let them fill their prisons with us. Enough is enough!
