Many politically active people, and people in the Cleveland Hts. area would remember Charlie Byrne as an articulate and vociferous voice in local politics. C.Byrne as he termed himself was dedicated to traditional values, the highest of standards in education, his country, and God. He was truly a character, prolific writer of letters to the editor, and just a great person. He told me my taste in clothing was awful, and took me to buy a suit years ago (I still wear it) and was always willing to lend a hand in like minded causes. USMC veteran of WWII, our community is a little less rich today, but then again,now he is debating public policy in Heaven. Sad to see you go young fellow.
