Many thanks to Mayor Roland Boudreaux, for all that he has done for the City of Rayne during his time as mayor of Rayne. He allowed the Mesdames to assist with the 2013 Halloween event, and was gracious enough to give The Piano Project wings... And graced us with his presence at our fundraising event. I no longer live in Rayne, but my daughter and granddaughters do... But even if they didnt, Id still want the very best for my hometown. I hope to one day, retire to my beautiful Rayne... And my greatest wish is that, despite the passage of time... Rayne retains that small town charm. Although there are, no doubt, many citizens who are disappointed that their candidate wasnt declared the winner, the business of being Rayne, goes on. And that includes every single citizen. Because Rayne is so much more than a dot on a map. Rayne is...was...and always will be a direct reflection of the lives lived within her borders. The sense of community, the pride in their neighborhoods, the compassion for one another .....THAT is the heartbeat of Rayne. Dont lose that. Dont ever lose that!
