Many thanks to all my facebook friends for their expressions of sympathy on the passing of my brother Rupert Paul Dumlao. Paul was one of Norfolk’s “lost generation” when the schools closed in the 50’s because of integration. He went into the Army and returned to Norfolk after he got out of the service. He always considered himself to be a Norview Pilot, and he went to night school to get his Norview diploma. He even bought a class ring for the year he would have graduated. He was a remarkable man, and a fine role model for his brothers, sons and friends.
