Many things in this life get in our way and distract us...trust me I know. This past year has no doubt been a rough one, but a lot of the pain and hurt and depression has come from my focus being on everything else but God, we need to get our focus back friends. Not just for ourselves, but for those who we could influence. A really good friend recently confronted me and basicly said you need to quit mopping around, stop being selfish and get up and move forward, get filled up again and find your passion again. Be the Kyia I know, because right now you are not her...these words may have stung a lil at first but they were from God and I needed them! Thank you Lord for your relentless love and never giving up on us! I know the road ahead isnt going to be easy, but I am saying yes to redirecting my focus to you Lord, help me because I am weak. Lord restore the passion that was once alive and thriving in these bones and make me new again. Friends its never too late if you are, still breathing, to turn back to God and pursue Him, He is there with open arms. Lets keep each other in prayer as we fight the desires of our flesh daily and choose the Lord over this world...in the end the world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever...
