Many times I am asked what Mana means by younger Oceanian ( Samoan, Tongan, Chamorro, Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawiian), our Ocean community) sisters, brothers and community members. The action shared through the following photos by our Oceanian Sisters in Aotearoa (New Zealand) Oceania Interrupted exudes, rejuvenates, nurtures and celebrates MANA. This is just one of many definitions. Our sisters revealed, presented, halted, brought attention to the atrocities and injustices in West Papua. They did this through Action and Solidarity at one of the most highly attended Oceanian gatherings Pasifika Festival Auckland Standing with you Sisters( and I saw the Bruddahs too :) ) Thank you for your expression of ofa, respecting our ancestors and planning for our grandchildren. Beautiful and powerful photography by my dear sister and amiga Sangeeta Singh Mana atu, i just wanted to share the alofa Fuifuilupe Niumeitolu Vaimoana Litia Makakaufaki Niumeitolu Corrina Gould Sina Uipi Laura Lafoia Ava-Tesimale Rita Scanlan Centzi Millia Cindi Alvitre Kalisi Ovava Eterei Lisi Kupu Daniel Tavai Nikole Cababa Fifita Vavau Ronia Auelua Neomai Taione Asena Taione-Filihia Sonya Clark Wennifer Lin-Haver Theclah Taylor Ilona Gorogo Rayan Joshua Huaembukie Josh Tia June Kaewsith please share with your community and friends.
