March 28,2014, Saturday...The power of coming together, last nights pow-wow was amazing! We had over 85 dancers registered, 11 drums and a packed house. I watched in amazement and compared it to the very first day we decided to have a pow-wow. The growth and numbers of people who came out to support our organization filled my heart with tears. There are many who made this possible. My many friends who came every year to support me also and volunteer. It was a very spiritual night. I have to say a big thank you to my colleague and friend Nia Sandoval for sticking by me. My head staff, Myron Garcia, Mike Mike Salabiye ,Farrell Emoohlah, Erny Zah, Nan Gallegos and her amazing family, Matt Taptto, and Red Bear, these individuals have hearts of gold. It takes the commitment of caring individuals to help you along this journey and also see the purpose of all we do. Thank you all for your prays and doing your part to make this pow-wow successful. I am tired and will regain my strength, but I am so blessed. Thank you all!
