Margaret got a new bed to replace her queen-size water bed. New - TopicsExpress

Margaret got a new bed to replace her queen-size water bed. New bed and old water bed wont both fit in the bedroom, so one of them has to go. Theres a bedroom upstairs that doesnt have a bed, so it makes a ton of sense to move the old waterbed up there. I put all the water bed parts except the box spring upstairs earlier this week, leaving the box spring leaning against a wall in the kitchen. It does NOT match the kitchens decor, but there was some doubt about whether or not the box spring could make the 90 degree turn needed to go up the steps. I moved the queen-size box springs upstairs yesterday while Margaret was at work, and she has asked me several times how I did it without someone to help. Before moving the box springs upstairs, Id thought about this bit from the Big Bang Theory and realized they were doing things all wrong. Isnt it great when a television show you like provides lessons you can use in real life? Inclined plane? Lever long enough for moving the earth? Lack of measurable upper body strength? Pish, posh. Let me say that again - pish, posh. Of course, it would have been pretty boring television if theyd done it right. To keep a wee bit of mystery in our relationship, I havent told Margaret how I did it, though I suspect shes already figured it out. But, just in case.... Margaret, I didnt have any help, and I didnt do it like they did it on that episode of Big Bang Theory. https://youtube/watch?v=7WZl-D8aYTs
