Maria the lost Angel Part 15 There they were, seated with the truth. The truth that they right now both wished they had never gotten a hold of. Maria looked on the other side of the car, Jeff looked on the other side, and each drifted in their own thoughts. Maria wanted to think no more, her thinking caused her too many emotions. Emotions that at this point she could no longer provide space for. Passing cars and chanting kids invaded the silence that was between them. Jeff coughed a few times and Maria would clear her throat a few times, how they both wished that they both would open up and say something. Maria turned to face Jeff ‘’So where is he’’ she asked for the second time. Without saying a word Jeff started the car and drove off, he didn’t say a word to Maria and Maria didn’t say a word either. Jeff drove off and the car came to a standstill at a beautiful painted house with an amazing garden in the front. Maria took a deep breath, Jeff looked at her and asked ‘’You ready?’’ for some reason Maria was nowhere close to being ready, she wasn’t prepared to look at the man that she had wondered about her whole life. She felt the fear in the deeps of her heart, Maria’s eyes gathered tears and she fought to keep them from falling. Jeff was tired of seeing Maria in so much pain, he was tired of all the pain that she had to go through. If only he had known that she was the daughter of ‘’The lost Angel’’ that his father has always talked about, the lost angel that his father would sometimes talk to when he was alone. Jeff was scared and sort for Maria , he wished that there was a way that he could make everything better for her but how if every time she discovered something new. Something new that was determined to bring her more painful discoveries. Maria took the last deep breath and opened the car, Jeff followed her right outside the car and walked in front of her towards the small gate of the yard. Maria slowly walked behind Jeff and for a minute or two froze before he could open the door, Clearly she was not ready but she was determined to get it done and over with. Jeff opened the door and seated in a chair in front of the Tv was an man that was seated as if he carried the world on his shoulders, Maria walked from Jeff and walked slowly towards the seated man. He looked up and without saying a word, he looked at Maria and walked towards her slowly. His face painted in so many emotions, he attempted a smile and a tear rolled down his face. He reached his hand in her hair and took her arm, Maria said nothing. Jeff was puzzled that his father recognized her simply by sight, ‘’you are the spitting image of your mother, those eyes. Only she has those eyes’’ Jeff and Maria looked on as the man talked and smiled and cried and shivered in his wording. Maria felt his grab and his smell and she imagined him grabbing onto her mother and repeatedly raping her. He wrapped his hands around her and in-between sobs said ‘’ Welcome home’’. Maria let loose of his grab and with all of the frustrations pushed him away from her ‘’you are a worthless and pathetic man, you are the devil. A stupid rapist! Home? Where is home? After you raped Mama and left her to die? You didn’t even bother to find out about us or how we were. You make me sick’’ Shouted Maria. The man stood there and looked at Maria, with tears down his face and he walked back to Maria again and took her hand, he walked her to a room outside the house. Maria walked and Jeff followed them, the man led Maria into a room that looked like it has been abandoned for years. Maria was shocked to what she sore in front of her eyes and the man switched on the lights
