Marian Domansky Fisher - I see a lot of people standing up for this guy and acting like the government is stealing from him. But these points seem to contradict that. Judy C Morelock expresses it best: Exactly as I thought! He and his misinformed supporters are trying to portray him a little guy against a big tyrannical government. In fact, ranchers graze their herds on public land at one-eight the market value, and the BLM goes to great expense to maintain the land at considerable cost to taxpayers ($77 million in 2001).
