She was born on January 9, 1954 in Algiers, LA, was raised in Lafitte (Barataria), LA and was a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A vibrant and joyful woman whom no one was ever a stranger to her. Daughter of the late Merlin Fayard, Sr and Williemena Fayard, and her late husband of 36 years, Capt. Norman A. Creppel, Sr. Mother of Lisa Peeples (Adam), Troy Creppel (Joanna), Sabrina Luker (Cory), Norman Chad Creppel, Jr., Desiree Gonzales (Branden) and Jessica Breaux (Paul). Sister of Merlin Fayard, Jr. (Barbara). Grandmother of Storm Aymond, Blake Chelette, Jr., Troy Creppel, Jr., Alyssa Chelette, Kearstyn Creppel, Destiny Banquer, Bailey Creppel, Jasmyn Creppel, Trinity Creppel, Dayton Gonzales and Braden Gonzales. Also survived by many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own. Her children would like to thank her friends that she thought of as her family for keeping her living life to the fullest, Thank You! Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 1:00 pm. Parlors will be open on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm and on Monday from 8:00 am until funeral time. Burial will take place at a later date.
