Mario Ojeda Gómez , a renowned academic internationalist , was primarily a former generations of analysts, researchers and public officials. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( SRE ) deeply regrets the death of the professor, researcher and diplomat Mario Ojeda Gómez ( Xalapa , 1927 ) , which took place last November 1 . Graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Harvard University , Professor Mario Ojeda was President of El Colegio de Mexico in 1985-1995 . This institution was a founding member of the Center for International Studies. He was also Permanent Representative of Mexico to UNESCO from 1995 to 1998 . According to a statement from the Foreign Ministry, Mario Ojeda Gómez , a renowned academic internationalist , was primarily a former generations of analysts, researchers and public officials. He published his seminal study Scope and Limits Mexico Foreign Policy in 1976 , reissued multiple times as well as other key works as Mexico s relations with the countries of Central America ( 1985 ) , Mexico : the emergence of an active foreign policy ( 1986 ) , Mexico before and after the political change , a witness (2004 ) , Contadora Hindsight : Mexico s efforts for peace in Central America , 1983-1985 (2007 ) , and Mexico and Cuba revolutionary / Fifty years of relationship ( 2008). Ojeda Gómez , professor emeritus at the College of Mexico , was also professor and visiting professor at institutions such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico , the Brookings Institution, the Royal Institute of International Affairs and the Institute Ortega y Gasset. The Foreign Ministry expresses its deepest condolences to the family Ojeda Revah as well as their families and friends.
