Maritzburg College installed some very important values in us, namely; TRUST- its important to be trustworthy in business,@ work and life in general. Your word should be your bond to your mates,colueges,family etc. Second value being SELF DISCIPLINE/CONTROL-The way you carry yourself in the present is a reflection of YOU, and unfortunately could have a negative impact on your future. You need to be able to stand firm for what you believe is right. Do not get pushed astray. Be able to control yourself. Other important qaulities include; INTEGRITY- be a man with integrity, do not get caught up in these worldy insignificant, superficial, materialistic things. I know it might seem like Im preaching but the more you start praising and gluttenising these material things, the easier it is for to get trapped in a web of corruption and fraud etc. Look at our ruling party members. HONESTY- this is so important and we are failing. Admit if you have made an error/mistake. Just tell the truth so the situation may be adressed. Do not lie. Say if you are incapable/guilty/battling. We are men!
