Marvin Records Crew rocks Awka as Gulder Ultimate Search ends in Grand Style: See Gov Obiano in Action + other classical Pictures Awka, the capital city of Anambra State continues to experience surge in entertainment glamour as the makers of Gulder Lager brings Marvin Records Crew to the A-Town. The Gulder Ultimate Search “The mission” officially ended today as the Chosen One returned with the Crown. To celebrate the brave warriors and reward the winner, Ndi Anambra were treated to a special show at the Women Development Centre, Awka. In attendance were the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano and his team, top officials of Nigerian Breweries and major stakeholders in banking, brewery and entertainment sectors. Several cash prizes were given out ranging from N1.025m to N10m in addition to 3 brand new cars. A 24-year-old Chinedu Ubachukwu emerged winner of this year’s edition (the 11th) of Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS). Ubachukwu and 13 others were in the Aguleri jungle in Anambra State for 26 days in contest on who becomes the ultimate winner. A graduate of Petroleum and Gas Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Ubachukwu, who hails from Anambra State, edged out co-finalists, Emmanuel Afolabi and Nne Cosy Joe, to discover the mythical General’s Helmet, a symbol of this year’s search, aptly tagged The Mission.
