Masapan de Cacahuates This Is my homemade recipe for a popular Mexican candy. I used a cup of peeled roasted peanuts and 3/4cup of powder sugar.you will need to remove the center top of the blender cover. On full power with the cover on, turn on blender and pour slowly some peanuts thru the open top, covering with your hand as blender Is on. Continue pouring the peanuts once in a while stop blender and loosen up the masa forming with the peanuts. After you finish with the peanuts slowly add the sugar little at a time. Just as you did with the peanuts, loosen any on the bottom and sides. Once you done pour in a bowl and knead by hand, for a little bit. I used a 1/4cup to form the Masapan. I put some masa in the cup and pressed down till flat and continued to the top continuing to press down. To remove tap down afew times to loosen masa untill Masapan comes out. Wrap on wax paper.
