Mastering your Skills Most of us before we joined network marketing, we sat in a meeting, or a one on one and looked at the presenter, thinking,..will i be able to stand in front of people and talk or present..thank God the presenter added the clause.. and we shall present for you , all you need to do is invite and bring your prospect.. What a relief...but realistically speaking, even the speaker presenting was once a prospect thinking the very same thing we thought of or had the fear of...PRESENTING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE.. So how does one overcome this and master the skills of presentations How does one overcome shyness and build to become a better presenter Below are proven steps that can help you get started. Step 1 - Work on your testimonial - Your Story Its the most easiest step and its straight from the heart. This step will give you the chance to prepare something where you already have the information. This is what it involves 1. Your Background (1 minute) - where you from, family background, education background, work background..etc 2. The things you did not like about your background (1 Minute)...what were the loopholes...things that made you unhappy about it... 3. How network marketing came to the rescue (2 Minutes) ...how did it solve your challenge, how it is make a difference in your life 4. What were your results and how is your current lifestyle (1 Minute) Constantly practicing your testimonial to people will give your confidence a boost...it will become like second nature...straight from the heart Once you achieve this step Each time you meet people , tell them your story Each time there is a presentation - try to tell the audience your story This is a stepping stone... a 5 minute start to being an effective presenter Move to Step 2 - Learning and mastering the presentation Listening to any presenter one will realise its the same presentation repeated over and over again So in one of the presentation, simply record the presenter. Listen to the presenter and start to present infront of the mirror. Whilst you are presenting, record your voice (audio), listen to it the first time and be very critical about it. Listen to the energy in the voice..how strong and effective is it Listen to the words you use...is it impactful Listen to the confidence Highlight areas to improve and present it again , recording your voice. Do this step over and over again until you feel the change and the willingness to now want to present it to people. Start presenting to your family, or close ones, they are the best people to tell you where you can improve. from that start inviting a few close friends or relatives at home to listen to you. Dont look for result in signups, you are only trying to improve your presentation skills. From that , keep increasing the number of people to listen to you, with the idea of both effective presentation and effective results. Step 3 - dont let Ego get to you always be humble to listen to other peoples presentation to constantly be in the quest for excellence.
