Madrid dominated this game from the first whistle controlling the majority of the possession and playing the game at their tempo. Getafe just did not seem interested tonight, players such as the O’Boyle brothers and Josh Cawley were woeful, it was like they had not played football before. Madrid punished this lack lustre Getafe side with some superb one and to touch football and clinical finishing from Chris Boyes Madrid ended up walking away with this game and was definitely the easiest game they will have all season. Sunday Night Spanish Segunda Division Racing Santander 14 v 23 Deportivo Top Scorer: Lewis Rae (10) M.O.M James Singleton A weakened Santander team was put to the knife tonight by a strong Deportivo side. The unorganised Santander side just did not have the right frame of mind going into this game. Deportivo dominated from start to finish, creating chance after chance and slotting it away with ease. However Santander did not go down without a fight, Singleton drove his team on trying to take the game to Deportivo, although they did make a very good account of them selves they fell short and Deportivo cruised to victory. Sunday Night Spanish Segunda Division Sevilla C.F 18 v 13 Espanyol Top Scorer: Daniel Beale (9) M.O.M Daniel Beale Sevilla stormed to victory tonight with a fantastic performance. Both teams were sensational tonight playing very good football however Sevilla were able to cope with the heat compared to Espanyol who were out on their feet. Daniel Beale was in inspired form tonight, he chased everything down and created chance after chance for his team not to mention the 9 superb goals he scored him self, this performance earned him self Man Of The Match and earned his team this valuable 3 points. This victory cements Sevilla third spot and giving them a good chance to challenge for the vital second spot and promotion. Sunday Night 6s League Sweet 6s 7 v 6 Six Offenders Top Scorer: Nick Webster (4) M.O.M Nick Webster Sweet 6s had a very slow start tonight they were just really not at the races tonight. Gaffa Jack Gillibrand was not there to inspire his team and this lack of interest shone through in the first half. At half time Sweet 6s made a some crucial substitutions i.e Ben Duffield off and Scott Gibbs on. This completely changed the game Sweet 6s began to turn it around and, some fantastic link up play between Scott Gibbs and Billy Mckena drew level. Sweet 6s finally got on top and began to control the game and were pressing and pressing until they made the brake through and got them selves in front. They then parked the bus, everyman behind the ball and put their body on the line for this crucial 3 points. Sunday Night 6s League White Eagle 8 v 2 Murder On Zidanes Floor Top Scorer: Darek Jaron (3) M.O.M Darek Jaron White Eagle had a fantastic night tonight coming through both games with 2 convincing victories. White Eagle dominated this game, they controlled the midfield with Darek Jaron running the show, he was fantastic tonight in both games, he really showed his class and drove his team on. White eagle knocked the ball around superbly again in this game creating chance after chance that they put away with ease. In the Second half White Eagle took there foot of the gas and began to play 1 and 2 touch football, Making Zidane’s Floor really work for what possession they had. In the end White Eagle had a comfortable win to top of a very successful night.
