Match Report vs Farringdon Reds. A perfect start to the Winter season with a comprehensive 10-1 victory. The match was hightlighted by the superb quality of the Giants goals throughout the game in both the standard of build up and lethal finishing. Goal scorers today were Ethan (4), Danny (3), Nathan T (2) and Taylor (1). Danny opened the scoring with a swooping header at the near post and in doing so received a burst lip but easily a price worth paying. The flow of goals couldnt be stopped and fitting that Taylor was able to mark his debut by opening his Giants account. The performance was a joy to watch with every Giant proving their ability to pass the ball, retain possession and build from the back. With Aaron looking increasingly confident in goal, he was able to thwart the rare breakthrough opportunities that Farringdon had. The Farringdon coach commented that our team were the best quality opposition they had faced since joining the Monkton league last Summer (they were in division 10). Very well done lads!!
