Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Nursing practice consistent with the performance standards of the Clinical Level I position. New graduates may not have had any previous experience. Work requires thorough and advanced knowledge of the nursing process, patient assessment and nursing standards, knowledge of the California Nursing Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, intermediate pharmaceutical, math skills and knowledge of management and assignment personnel. Must possess good verbal and written English communication skills. Peripheral IV experience and skills required. Good time management and prioritizing skills. .Must be currently licensed by the State of California Board of registered Nursing. Must posses current American Heart Association Certification in Basic CPR. ACLS preferred.
