Beth is currently the Engineering Manager at BAE. She completed a maths degree and explained to the students that her degree has had a direct impact on her career progress. Maths graduates are highly regarded and there are so many fields that the students could think about working in.” Lauren is currently part of the BAE graduate scheme, working as a project manager. Ron is an Education Ambassador at the company and currently works as the company’s Algorithm Design and Mathematical Consultant. He explained to the students that their careers as Maths graduates can be diverse and are not limited to just teaching maths to new students. Students were also given the opportunities to ask questions. These included the types of opportunities that are currently available at the company. The visitors explained that there are a number of opportunities available to the students both as graduates and as college leavers as they run a number of Higher Apprenticeships.
