Matthew 14:31. “And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Yesterday I drove to a public function, only to learn that I had the wrong day due to my own calendar faux pas. Frustrated and disappointed in myself, I was preparing to leave the venue when I met a person that God placed in my path. We not only clarified the correct future date, but committed to getting together to discuss a strategic partnership. Why did I doubt You, Lord? Why did I fail to remember that You are sovereign and in control? Lord, at work and elsewhere, You have placed me where You want me to be. I accept this mission cheerfully and gratefully. I seek Your divine grace to keep me from doubting You, especially when You invariably and faithfully cover my mistakes in Your service. Thank You, Father. Amen.
