Matthew 8:13-15 13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. 14 And when Jesus was come into Peters house, he saw his wifes mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. We can expect miracles according to the amount of faith we have. If we dont believe, nothing will happen. The bottom line was, this servant was healed. Peters home, as we have said before, was here in Capernaum. Jesus, probably, went there to rest from the crowd. The Scripture does not state the cause of the fever. She was sick enough to stay in bed. Just one touch of Jesus hand, and the fever left. It was such a miracle, she immediately went to work seeing to their physical needs.
