(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ A volunteer writes: This doberman pinscher mix has a smallish frame and makes the appearance of a younger dog, while the care center estimates him at 8 years. Max was very easy to walk on leash during a walk outside, not pulling; and seemed comfortable going in whichever direction the handler walked. His previous owner notes used the term hyperactive, but it was not in evidence to me during our brief interaction, where Max seemed to be very happy to be out for a walk. With the leash tethered in one spot for a profile photo, he at first didnt seem as comfortable, turning away from the camera. But while taking a break from photos, Max scrambled onto my lap where he just barely fit to sit down - that was where he wanted to be. There, he quickly displayed more comfortable body language and looked around the environment with great interest. One would have to imagine he had the good fortune to have sat on many laps in his previous life, since thats where he seemed to think he belonged.
